We have deliberately kept this website lean: no cookies, no tracking, no analytics tools, no advertising networks, no embedded videos and no fonts from third-party servers. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to operate the website or to answer your enquiry.

This policy applies to www.quantwohl.com. The German version for www.quantwohl.de is available at www.quantwohl.de/datenschutz.

We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you access the pages, the server processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, the page accessed, the amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer).

This serves the secure and stable delivery of the website and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a data processing agreement with the host under Art. 28 GDPR. The host deletes or anonymises the log data after a short time. The exact period depends on the settings of the hosting package.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything on your device. That is why there is no cookie banner.

4. Fonts

The fonts used (Barlow, PT Serif) are stored on our own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when you access the page.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you write to us or call us, we process your details (e.g. name, email address, content of the message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or pre-contractual questions are concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply. Our mailbox is also operated by STRATO.

6. Downloads

The worksheets and the prompt for the book are available for download without registration. Only the server logs described in section 2 are generated.

7. Links to other websites

This website contains links, for example to our German website or to Amazon to buy the book. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website, and the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies. No data is transferred to these providers beforehand.

8. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Simply contact info@quantwohl.de.

9. Changes

If we extend the website, for example with a newsletter, we will update this privacy policy beforehand.
